A Journey into Our Company
Established in 1988, VMS embarked on a journey that has transformed it into a multifaceted industry leader. Over the years, milestones such as securing national distributorship for Agfa Medical X-ray films, expanding our branch network nationwide, and acquiring ISO certifications have marked our growth. In 2011, we diversified into distributing VMS branded inkjet and special coated media, further solidifying our position in imaging solutions. The acquisition of a hospital furniture manufacturing plant and numerous certifications reinforced our commitment to quality and innovation. As we expanded our reach across India, partnerships with renowned brands like Siemens and Fujifilm strengthened our portfolio. Today, with a strong presence in healthcare, imaging, signage, and e-commerce, VMS continues to lead with vision and excellence.
- Entered wholesale business for Graphic Art Materials.
- Agfa & Kodak Distribution: Distributed Agfa Medical X-ray films and Kodak Photo products.
- Expansion: Opened branches across central and eastern India.
- Rebranding: Became Vinod Medical Systems Pvt. Ltd.
- New Distributions: Started distributing screens and cassettes from Kiran Screen Ltd.
National Distributorship: Secured all-India distributorship for Agfa Medical X-ray films.
Branch Network Growth: Expanded branches nationwide.
Corporate Office & Plant: Established corporate office in Mumbai; launched a state-of-the-art finishing plant in Dadra and Nagar Haveli.
Certification & Rebranding: Updated company logo and earned ISO 9001:2008 certification.
Product Expansion: Began distributing VMS branded medical and photo products, dental X-ray film, hospital furniture, signage media, and Ansmann batteries & accessories.
- New Media Distribution: Started distributing VMS branded inkjet and special coated media from Mitsubishi and Koehler.
- Manufacturing & Certifications: Acquired a hospital furniture manufacturing plant and obtained multiple certifications (ISO 9001:2008, ISO 14001:2004, ISO 13485:2003, CE, OHSAS 18001:2007, WHO-GMP).
- Further Expansion: Continued to increase branch network across India.
- Advanced Equipment: Distributed radiology equipment from Siemens, and pathology and hematology analyzers from Labindia Healthcare.
- Diverse Products: Distributed Natural branded ice cream, VMS signage media and printers, Agfa Synaps media, Kodak inkjet media, Fujifilm photo products, Epson wide format printers, digital X-ray machines, CR units & media from Carestream Healthcare, and ultrasound units from Samsung.
- Laminating Solutions: Offered laminators, their media & accessories, and a wide range of dye-sublimation media.
• VMSCart.com Launch: Launched VMS's own e-commerce platform, vmscart.com, to enhance online accessibility and expand market reach.
• Medipro - DICOM Software: Introduced Medipro, a cutting-edge DICOM software, to improve diagnostic imaging capabilities.
• VMS Experience Zone: Opened the VMS Experience Zone, featuring an extensive display of healthcare furniture, including ICU beds, to provide a hands-on experience for clients.
• Aura DR Mobile Table: Launched the Aura DR Mobile Table, designed for advanced diagnostic imaging with enhanced mobility and functionality.
